CIDRA Foundation to Lead Public Rally in Nagpur on ‘World No Tobacco Day’, to Mobilize Masses Against the Tobacco Use

Nagpur, — In a powerful demonstration of solidarity against tobacco use, the Central India Doctors Association (CIDRA) Foundation is organizing a Public Rally on World No Tobacco Day this Saturday, May 31, in collaboration with around 40 NGOs, hospitals, schools, and social groups.
Purpose of the Rally
The rally aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and other addictive substances within the community. It will take place from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm, starting at Jafar Nagar Square (near Prime Nursing Home) and concluding at Awasthi Nagar Square.
Visual Impact
Participants can expect the rally route to be adorned with impactful banners and posters that highlight the dangers of tobacco use, delivering a strong visual message to the public.
Symbolic Act
The event will culminate at Awasthi Nagar Square with a symbolic act where participants will burn cigarettes and gutka packets, showcasing their collective commitment to a tobacco-free future.
Community Involvement
Prominent personalities and community leaders will be present, alongside leading hospitals, including Critizone Hospitals, Prime Nursing Home, Synergy Hospitals, and Max Hospitals, all of which have partnered in this initiative.
