LITAA’s Global Alumni Meet ‘Udaan 2025–26’ Kicks Off with Tribute to Late D. Laxminarayan

The Global Alumni Meet ‘Udaan 2025–26’, hosted by LITAA—the alumni association of Laxminarayan Institute of Innovative Technology (LIT) University—began on Saturday with a heartfelt tribute to Late Rao Bahadur D. Laxminarayan. The event opened with the offering of a floral wreath at his statue located in front of the main building of LIT University.This year’s meet revolves around the inspiring theme, “Connecting Dreams, Igniting Success.”

Alumni and current students who have made significant contributions in diverse fields across India and internationally gathered to celebrate their shared legacy and achievements.Throughout the day, attendees engaged in various technical and interactive sessions, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and experiences. The evening program, held at Persistent Systems IT Park, featured a colorful cultural showcase by present and former students.The cultural event commenced with a Ganesh Vandana titled “Sur Niragas Ho,” performed as a graceful Kathak dance by Ahisha Kakade.

The evening also included captivating solo performances by Ananya Chakravarti and Snehal Tumbade.Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, alumni and students rendered soulful renditions of classic songs such as Lag Ja Gale, Mere Mehboob Qayamat, Kaisi Paheli Zindagani, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Saathiya Tune Kya Kiya, and Madhuban Mein Radhika. The evening was skillfully compered by Shubhangi Raylu, rounding off a memorable day of connection, celebration, and inspiration at Udaan 2025–26.
