Chitnavis Centre is proud to present a captivating musical evening showcasing semi-classical Hindi and Marathi songs performed by the talented young vocalist Vishwajeet Borwankar from Mumbai. Vishwajeet is a renowned playback singer, celebrated as the winner of Zee TV’s Saregamapa Marathi and a finalist on Zee Hindi Saregamapa. His impressive portfolio includes singing for numerous Marathi and Hindi films such as Chandramukhi…a musical, BOYS 3, and Maharashtra Shahir.Trained in North Indian classical music for 15 years under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Ram Deshpande and Pt. Babanrao Haldankar, Vishwajeet brings a rich blend of expertise to his performances.
He is equally skilled in Sufi music, Ghazals, classical fusion, and Bollywood genres. His dedication and talent have earned him prestigious honors like the Vidushi Kesarbai Kerkar scholarship from NCPA and the Pt. Ram Marathi scholarship.For this special concert, music arrangements will be handled by Anand Maste, while Anushree Phadnis Deshpande will gracefully compere the event.
