Nagpur Division of Central Railway proudly announces that Ms. Alfiya Pathan, a Ticket Examiner from Nagpur, has been selected to represent India at the upcoming Asian Boxing Championship in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, scheduled from March 28 to April 11, 2026.
Alfiya recently clinched the Gold Medal at the 9th Elite Senior National Men’s & Women’s Boxing Championship held in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Representing Indian Railways, she triumphed over a strong opponent from Haryana in the final to secure the top honor.
Her outstanding national-level performance, combined with consistent success in various championships, earned her a well-deserved place on the Indian squad for the Asian Championship.This achievement fills the Divisional Sports Association (DSA) and the entire Nagpur railway community with immense pride.
