In a major boost for local employment, the District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Centre has announced a permanent monthly recruitment drive for the automotive sector. The “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Special Employment Fair” is set to take place on the 15th of every month in Nagpur.
The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Model Career Centre, the National Career Service, and Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
May Event Details
The inaugural fair for this month will be held tomorrow:
- Date: Friday, May 15
- Venue: Convocation Hall, Chhatrapati Shivaji Administrative Building, Ravindranath Tagore Marg, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
Participating Employers
Several industry leaders will be on-site to interview and recruit talent, including:
- Provincial Automobile Co. Pvt. Ltd.
- Seva Automotive Pvt. Ltd.
- Zyka Motors Pvt. Ltd.
- Patni Toyota
- Arun Motors, Ketan Motors, Barbate Automotive, and Unnati Vehicles.
Vacancies and Eligibility
With over 200 positions up for grabs, the fair is open to a wide range of educational backgrounds:
- Technical: ITI pass-outs, Diploma holders, and Degree holders in Mechanical or Motor Mechanical (Petrol/Diesel) streams.
- General: Class 10th and 12th pass candidates, as well as graduates from other disciplines.

Assistant Commissioner Sunanda Bajaj has urged all eligible candidates in the region to attend the fair and capitalize on these immediate hiring opportunities.
