RTMNU Launches Free Bicycle Facility for Students

In the latest buzz around the Nagpur city, we have an interesting news coming out from the office of the Nagpur University. Formally known as Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), it has introduced a free bicycle facility for students at its Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Educational Campus on Amravati Road to ease commuting across the sprawling campus.
The initiative was supported by Shrikant Komawar, former Principal of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Law School, who contributed 10 bicycles after recognizing the challenges students face moving between departments. The program was implemented by Finance and Accounts Officer Harish Paliwal, under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Manali Kshirsagar.
Students traveling from various districts for academic purposes often spend significant time walking between offices and departments. To help, bicycles are now available free of charge for use within the campus.Students can register with security guards at the main entrance on Amravati Road to borrow a bicycle and are required to return it to the same spot after use.
Director of Student Development Vijay Khandal and Registrar Raju Hiwse encouraged students to take full advantage of this convenient facility.The launch ceremony was attended by several officials, including Director of Internal Quality Assurance Cell Nandkishor Karde, Head of Mathematics Department Ganesh Kedar, and other faculty and staff members.
