Tragic Death of PSI Exam Topper Ashwini Kedari Shocks Pune

Ashwini Kedari, a 30-year-old resident of Palu in Khed Taluka, Pune district, who secured the top spot among girls in the 2023 PSI exam conducted by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission, has tragically passed away, leaving her community in deep sorrow.On the morning of August 28th, while preparing for her future at home, Ashwini switched on the geyser in her bathroom to heat water.
As she went to check the temperature, she suffered a severe electric shock that caused scalding hot water to spill over her body. The accident resulted in devastating burns covering approximately 80% of her skin.Immediately after the incident, Ashwini was rushed to the D. Y. Patil Hospital in Pimpri-Chinchwad, where doctors fought tirelessly to save her life. The local community showed immense support, coming forward to provide financial assistance for her treatment.
Despite the best medical care and the collective efforts of her family and supporters, Ashwini succumbed to her injuries after several days in critical condition.Hailing from a humble farmer’s family, Ashwini’s achievements were a testament to her relentless dedication and hard work.
