Two Teenagers Die After High-Speed Royal Enfield Bullet Crashes Into Cement Posts in Bajajnagar

Tragedy struck on the Kachipura–Bajajnagar road when two 19-year-old youths lost their lives after a Royal Enfield Bullet motorcycle, speeding recklessly, crashed into a series of cement posts. The accident took place between 9:45 PM and 10:10 PM on February 16, 2026, near Dana Pani Savji Hotel.
The motorcycle, which reportedly did not have a number plate, was being driven in a rash and dangerous manner. The deceased have been identified as rider Yug Vishal Chandkapure and pillion rider Rudra Shashikant Somkunwar, both residents of Ramdaspeth, Kachipura.Police reports state that the motorcycle grazed a pedestrian girl, causing the rider to lose control.
The bike then collided with ten cement posts along the footpath. Both riders suffered critical injuries and were immediately taken to Wockhardt Hospital, and later transferred to GMCH, where they were declared dead.
Bajajnagar Police have registered a case under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Sections 106(1) and 281, covering death caused by rash or negligent driving and rash driving endangering human life.
