The long-awaited Dighori flyover in Nagpur will be inaugurated today, Saturday, September 19, 2026, officially opening the structure for public use. The opening of the flyover marks a major milestone in improving urban transportation across the city.
The official inauguration ceremony is scheduled to take place at 5:00 PM at Priya Bar Square in Reshimbagh, Nagpur. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will jointly inaugurate the new elevated road.
The key infrastructure project is expected to significantly improve local traffic movement and provide much-needed relief to daily commuters traveling along the busy corridor. By lifting vehicles above congested surface intersections, the structure will reduce travel time, ease bottleneck points, and lower the risk of road accidents in the surrounding areas.
The entire Indora-Dighori elevated corridor has been developed at a total project cost of approximately ₹998 crore. The complete corridor spans 8.9 kilometers in length, which includes a continuous 6.37-kilometer-long elevated flyover.
