The Osho International Meditation Resort, also lovingly known as the Osho Ashram or Osho Commune by Pune residents, is all set to host its much-anticipated annual monsoon festival from August 11 to 15. The serene retreat in Koregaon Park is already buzzing with vibrant activities as followers of the spiritual leader gather to celebrate.“
The magical monsoon season in Pune breathes new life into the lush greenery surrounding the Osho International Meditation Resort, adding a special sparkle. During this time, meditation deepens and celebration reaches new heights. The monsoon festival offers a unique chance for visitors from around the world to immerse themselves in this powerful energy,” said OIMR spokesperson Ma Amrit Sadhana.
Reflecting Osho’s vision of fusing meditation with celebration, she explained, “As humanity drifts away from the inner world, it loses touch with authentic art. Here, artists express themselves out of love and gratitude, connecting with the deepest creative source that every artist yearns for.”
She added, “Osho International Meditation Resort is a haven for both meditation and celebration. Just last Sunday, Yudi Dhawale and friends from Pune Drum Circle hosted a lively dance celebration. The high-energy drumming interspersed with moments of silence created a powerful experience. Hundreds of meditators danced joyfully under the glass pyramid. Dance is a profound way to dissolve the ego, instantly relieving stress and rejuvenating the spirit.
”The festival will continue to showcase live performances, with another scheduled for this Sunday. Marking its 13th year, the monsoon festival promises no less than 70 diverse programs across the expansive resort grounds. These include revolutionary OSHO meditations, silent sittings, morning Tai Chi and Chi Gong classes, and live music meditations performed by renowned musicians, according to Ma Amrit Sadhana.
