518 Affordable Flats to Be Allotted Under PMAY 2.0 in Nagpur; Online Registration Opens February 24

Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) will allot 518 flats to economically weaker section (EWS) beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 – Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP). Online registration for the scheme will begin on February 24 at 3 pm. Mayor Nita Thakre and Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhari announced that the registration window will remain open until midnight, March 31, 2026, with allotment conducted through an online computerized draw.

The housing project will be located at Mouza Nari in North Nagpur and will include 210 one-bedroom (1BHK) flats measuring 478 sq ft and 308 two-bedroom (2BHK) flats measuring 619 sq ft. The project has received approval from the Centre under PMAY 2.0. Reserved units will be available for SC/ST, OBC, and persons with disabilities.

Pricing for the flats is set at ₹15.51 lakh for 1BHK units and ₹21.01 lakh for 2BHK units. Beneficiaries will receive a government subsidy of ₹2.5 lakh, bringing the effective prices down to ₹13.01 lakh for 1BHK and ₹18.51 lakh for 2BHK flats. Additional charges such as stamp duty, GST, and other fees will apply.

To be eligible, applicants must reside within NMC limits, must not own a pucca house anywhere in India, and should have an annual family income below ₹3 lakh.
