The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced the results for Class 10 (ICSE) and Class 12 (ISC) on Wednesday at 11 AM, bringing joy to students and schools throughout Nagpur and Vidarbha. Despite the limited number of ICSE schools in the region, all institutions reported a remarkable 100% pass rate.In Class 10, Mahvish Amjad Khan of Marie Poussepin’s Academy on Kamptee Road emerged as the city topper with an impressive 97.2%, securing the second rank in Vidarbha.
The top rank in the region was claimed by Urvi Kapil Khokale from Amravati, who achieved an outstanding 98.17%.Marie Poussepin’s Academy also produced other notable high scorers, including Kaniska Uke, who scored 96.6%. At Chandadevi Saraf School, 24 students achieved scores above 90%, with Samika Shelgaonkar leading at 97%. Vaidik Jha and Guruprasad Damodare each secured 96.6%, while Arushi Shinde and Prisha Sakkarpure followed closely with 95.2% and 95%, respectively.
MSB Education Institute also celebrated excellent results, with Sheherbano Hussain scoring 97%, followed by Asgar Maimoon at 96.2% and Tahir Hussain Lahiri at 95.8%.In the Class 12 results, girls continued to excel, with Khadija Hussain from MSB Institute likely being the city topper in the Science stream with 93%. In the Arts stream, Fatima Dhankot, also from MSB, matched that score.
In Commerce, Idris Zariwala secured 87%, while Mohammad Nagpurwala scored 85%.From CDS School, Devanshi Bhisikar scored 89% in Science, and Pranjal Jain achieved 83.5%.Due to soaring summer temperatures, many students opted to stay home, but teachers remained on duty to address result queries and provide support. Overall, the results highlighted high academic standards, particularly among girl students, reaffirming their strong performance in both the ICSE and ISC boards this year.
