The Manaswini Foundation recently marked a decade of impactful service with a vibrant celebration that coincided with International Women’s Day. The event served as a grand tribute to female leadership, social contribution, and the diverse talents of its members. Chief Guest Parinita Fukey, an esteemed entrepreneur and former corporator, was warmly welcomed by the foundation’s founder, Neelam Bowade, as they kicked off the festivities honoring the organization’s ten-year journey of empowering women in the region.
During her address, Neelam Bowade reflected on the vision that led to the foundation’s inception, explaining that it was born from a desire to provide a platform for women whose unique qualities often go unnoticed due to a lack of opportunity. She emphasized that when like-minded women unite with confidence and determination, they become a powerful force for meaningful societal change. This vision has translated into tangible results over the last decade, with the organization successfully completing over 1,000 social and inspirational projects that have benefited various sections of society.
The event featured a series of spirited competitions designed to showcase the skills and confidence of the members, all of which were evaluated by judge Janis Sama. In the “One Minute Inspiration Talk,” Priti Dharpure took the top prize, followed by runner-up Shraddha Prashant. The “Hidden Talent” category saw Dr. Shruti Sanghavi emerge as the winner with Rajani as the runner-up, while Deepa Dhawan and Rashmi Aatey claimed the first and second spots in the “Pink Saree Confidence Walk.” The intellectual prowess of the members was also on display during the “Manaswini Knowledge Quiz,” where Dr. Anita Rao was declared the winner, followed by Pranjali Tijare.
Beyond the competitive events, the foundation took a moment to recognize the internal pillars of its growth through special surprise awards. Suman Dass was honored for her vital contributions to skills development, while Aruna Rahate received recognition for her successful leadership in membership drives. Indrani was lauded for her consistent support across various projects, and Yogita Deshmukh was praised for her excellence in organizing collaborative initiatives with other groups. Chief Guest Parinita Fukey praised these efforts in her keynote, reminding the audience that true success is the product of dedication and consistent effort rather than shortcuts.
