The District Sports Office, Nagpur, under the direction of Sports and Youth Services, Maharashtra State, Pune, will organize a district-level Youth Festival on November 16 and 17. Held at the Divisional Sports Complex in Mankapur, the event forms part of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD-2027) initiative. The program will kick off at 10:00 AM on the opening day.
Designed to showcase local talent, the festival features two primary activity tracks:
- Cultural & Creative Contests: Group folk dance, group folk singing, drawing, painting, street plays, and poetry writing.
- Viksit Bharat Challenge Track: Quizzes, essay writing, and presentation events designed to foster leadership, innovation, and strategic thinking among the youth.
Participation Eligibility and Guidelines
To ensure smooth organization and fair competition, the organizers have outlined specific rules for prospective participants:
- Age Criteria: Applicants for cultural competitions must be between 15 and 29 years old as of August 17, 2026.
- Mandatory Portal Registration: All participants must be registered on the official MY Bharat Portal.
- Exclusion Clause: Youth who participated in the cultural competitions at the previous year’s festival are not eligible to compete in this edition.
